After graduating in 2000 with a BA(Hons) in Fashion Design and Business, Lucy began her career as a Retail Buyer which combined her passion for design and creativity with her love of figures and numbers.

Having worked within large retail companies as a Buyer in London for many years, Lucy is highly skilled at working under pressure, managing tight deadlines, understanding budget, cash flow and profit margins. As a Buyer, being able to understand reports and financial information was absolutely key to making the right business decisions to benefit the all important bottom line - Profit!

It was whilst on maternity leave with her second child that Lucy and her family made the move to the South Coast and Lucy followed her dream of running her own business and utilising her skills and so after studying and gaining her bookkeeping qualifications, L Plant Bookkeeping came to fruition.
